After Enrollment

After you have sent your "Registration for Enrollment” and your complete set of documents required for enrollment to the ­Admissions Department, they will be checked. If your documents are complete, you will receive a provisional certificate of enrollment with further information.

Campus game "StartSmart"

With your provisional enrollment certificate you will also receive information about our new game for the start of your studies - StartSmart! Play along and get lots of information and insights into studying at TU Dortmund University.

Welcome Event "Come2Campus"

At the start of the winter semester, the welcome event "Come2Campus" takes place at TU Dortmund University, where international first-year students are welcomed. A buddy program also makes the start easier - register now!

You can find all information, the registration form and the program on our "Come2Campus" pages.

All ­students must pay the social contribution fee for each semester. This social contribution is not a tuition fee and generally payable by all students, regardless of when they enroll.

Upon receipt of your provisional certificate of enrollment, you will receive a request for payment of the social contribution. Please do not transfer the social contribution until you have received your provisional certificate of enrollment.

Before the beginning of the next semester, registered students will be notified to re-register for the next semester. You can find information on re-registering on these sites as well.

 

All students (with the exception of guest students) of TU­ Dortmund University are provided­ with a UniAccount upon enrollment. With this account you will not only receive your personal UniMail e-mail address, but also have access to important online functions that TU Dortmund University provides to its students. You will receive your personal access data with your provisional certificate of enrollment.

­Students of TU­ Dortmund ­University­ (except cross-registered and guest students) receive ­a semester ticket for ­public transport­ after successful enrolment or re-registration for the next semester. From the Summer semester 2024, you will only receive the semester ticket in the TU Dortmund app! You can find more information about the app here.

All students (with the exception of guest students) of TU­ Dortmund University are provided with­ a UniAccount­ from the time of enrollment/registration.

With this account you will not only receive your personal TU e-mail address, but also have access to important online functions.

With the help of this UniAccount you can, for example, request online enrollment certificates for the current and previous semester and print them out at any time as required.

All ­students of TU Dortmund University have the possibility to use the WLAN network of the ­university with their UniAccount.

The TU Dortmund App can be a very practical companion for your studies. The app provides information such as menu plans, LSF, university sports program, person search, campus navigation, departure monitor, AStA service, current news, events and much more.

Where is the SRG I building, how do I get from the north campus to the south campus and where is the nearest diaper changing table? The interactive map and a site plan of TU Dortmund University help with these questions.

Let's do it! The first semester is just around the corner and soon the starting signal for the lecture period will be given. You can look forward to the start of your studies - an exciting new time is about to begin!
